bookcase001Just completed building my ebook library that can hold over 640 ebooks. The bookcase wasnt hard to put together however gathering the art ebooks and images over the last 10 years took quite a while. I have at last count about 300 of both ebooks and countless image files of well over 250 artists and should be a great reference library for my studio. Why didnt I save them on hard drive? I did however theres just something about going to a bookcase and being able to pick out a book or some reference. I have become used of reading from PDF format and dont require a paper version anymore (thats not to say I dont treasure my paper versions)

bookcaseThese little babies are all in PDF format and cover a wide range of art topics, to vast to mention. As I progress in my Bachelor of Arts degree this library should grow a little more. 

On another note, I wish I was as good as writing essays as I am in organising myself. I got a few tips from my son Ben who is studying Political Science at Griffith and is smashing it. I will keep plugging along and learning as I go, its been 28 years since I last wrote an essay so I wont be too hard on myself. There is quantum leaps from being a concretor to taking up fulltime study however I am enjoying every minute of this new found wealth of knowledge. update: 20/07/2010 2 distinctions and 2 high distinctions..... I am really enjoying this, its opening my eyes to a world I knew was there but didnt know how to access it......
