Medium Notes:

Atelier acrylics, French Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre, light Red Ochre and Titanium White with Atelier Mediums, on stretched canvas, 1500mm x 1100mm. Additional house arcylic with mixed with atelier acylics and impasto gel for dotted effect.

Learnt a bit about blending and layering and while I was happy with the first stage and its background I have decided to push it a bit more and see where it takes me.

Came back to this to push it a bit more like i said, disapointed that I lost the best part of the background however I know how to do it again. Proceeded to play around with the dotting effect and as the psyche kicks in makes a statement to as to how I feel at the present time. Not going to take it any further as I need to know when to just leave it even though I want to do more. Time will allow for this as it is all a learning curve, little bits of progress are made with each painting. Afer this I might take a mental break and paint some nudes.
